The biggest challenge was to create the identity of the first design week without trying to make any statements about what (we think) Transylvanian design means. Based on the central theme of the event, we created a design that visually reflects the ambitions of Transylvanian Design Week. Visually, we were inspired by the idea of collecting design ‘thought fragments’ starting from the announcement of the TWD competition until the opening of its main event.
The website and social media platforms are also based on this: both are initially a blank sheet, inviting you to add your perspective. Transylvanian Design Week will be what Transylvanian designers put together.
